Responsibilities

  • Lead daily cafe and food truck operations to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional guest service.
  • Support, coach, and mentor baristas; provide ongoing training in beverage preparation, guest service, and company standards.
  • Maintain quality control by monitoring beverage consistency, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain department schedules, task delegation, and break management to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.
  • Operate POS systems accurately, including cash and cashless transactions; assist with cash handling oversight and daily reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track usage, and coordinate restocking; communicate shortages or equipment issues to the Jade Fusion Manager promptly.
  • Ensure the cafe and food truck remain clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times.
  • Develop monthly specials and support marketing initiatives to increase profitability and guest engagement.
  • Address guest concerns or special requests professionally and efficiently; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Support onboarding of new team members and assist with performance feedback as directed.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Perform barista duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Exceptional guest service skills required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous barista experience required; supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Strong guest service, communication, leadership, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Cash handling and POS experience required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items as needed.


Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Food Handler's Card.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, occasional bending and crouching. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
