Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall effective operation of Table Games department on assigned shift.
- Build excellent relationships with guests and communicates with applicable departments to facilitate their handling of guest situations.
- Must have the ability to learn all games on the floor.
- Ensures that applicable gaming procedures and regulations are properly implemented.
- Responsible for overseeing the protection of the bankrolls on all table games.
- Monitors all Floor Supervisors for performance, compliance, guest service and adherence to departmental policies and procedures. Disciplines/coaches performance of team members.
- Communicates with Table Games Manager and other department supervisors about any significant information relating to the proper conduct of overall table games operations,
- May correct errors made by dealers on gaming tables and approve change-making transactions.
- Ensures guest service and satisfaction by making sure players are comped, when appropriate.
- Resolves any problems, complaints or disputes which may occur during assigned shift.
- Communicates any guest complaints, problems or compliments to appropriate management.
- Administrative responsibilities for the shift include but are not limited to: entering payroll department files, performance evaluations, and scheduling shifts.
- Communicates with Table Games staff to organize and implement special events.
- Promptly answers all calls on the gaming floor as required.
- Must learn, comprehend and comply with all company policies and procedures, MICs, Gaming Regulations and Title 31 requirements.
- Ensures all promotions are implemented in accordance with gaming regulations and procedures.
- Maintains confidential daily record of tips.
- Attends all mandatory department, casino and /or training meetings.
- Follows all department and casino policies, procedures and regulations as required.
- Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal and NIGC regulations.
- Ensures control/protection of company assets as applicable.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Exceptional guest service skills required.
- Associate degree from two-year college or university; and two- and one-half years of casino management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years supervisory experience in a legal gaming facility; direct experience in an organizational development role strongly preferred.
- Skills in assessing operation, program, staffing and fiscal needs.
- Skill in effectively communicating verbally or written correspondence including writing reports, business correspondence and procedural manuals.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time through the duration of the shift with repetitive movement through fingers, hands and arms. Occasional bending and crouching. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24-hour, 7-day work operation
