Responsibilities

  • Performs preventive and corrective maintenance services. Responds to work orders generated from computer maintenance management system.  
  • Properly troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs commercial cooking, refrigeration, and/or HVAC equipment. 
  • Install, repair, maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as but not limited to motors, compressors, pumps, belts, fans, HVAC package units, boilers, chillers, cooling towers.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of Angel of the Casino and OSHA.
  • Inspects completed work to comply with requirements of local building, health and safety codes.
  • Able to use tools and equipment used in repairing and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC units such as but not limited to Electrical voltmeter, torch, gauges, vacuum pump, recovery machine, scale.
  • Ability to use a computer to operate the BMS-Alerton experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to comprehend existing and all new equipment manufacturers warrantees to stay compliant to the manufacturers policies and responsibilities.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems independently and in a timely manner.
  • May escort subcontractors during completion of their work while onsite.
  • Must maintain a clean and safe workplace during and after performing maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required or on-call.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Exceptional guest service skills required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years’ commercial kitchen equipment preferred.
  • Technical or Vocational training in maintenance preferred.
  • Plumbing and electrical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blue prints, as built drawing and equipment schematics.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of SDS, OSHA and EPA requirements 
  • Knowledge of basic computer systems: Outlook, Microsoft Office, Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
  • Must have a Universal CFC license.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Frequently involves carrying, pushing and pulling 40 to 60 pounds. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. Regular use of fingers, hands, and arms; walk, climb, balance, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, or crawl.  Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock and vibration.  Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.  This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
