Responsibilities
• Maintains a high level of guest satisfaction and quality standards.
• Observe that each order sent out is meeting established standards, correcting as needed.
• Ensures availability of supplies (or approved substitutions) in adequate time for preparation.
• Supervises, delegates, and coordinates the activities of other workers engaged in prepping, cooking, or serving guests.
• Cook and otherwise prepare food according to recipes; assist all staff as needed.
• Continually reviews kitchen operations for improvements in all areas.
• May assist with coordinating banquets and other social functions associated with AOTW.
• Maintain the food truck in good working order; ensuring all equipment in functional, fresh and wastewater tanks, propane, and gas all monitored and filled/emptied as needed.
• Coordinate and maintain all annual inspections and certifications associated with the food truck.
• Responsible for ensuring annual mechanical inspections for the food truck; suggesting repairs and replacements as needed per professional recommendations.
• Possess the ability to operate a POS while taking orders from guests and tendering payment.
• Provides alcohol service within the guidelines set forth by the MAST training program. Operates, balances, and reconciles cash till and Point of Sales (POS).
• Follows all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines as applicable.
• Works days, nights, weekends, special events and holidays as needed.
• Maintain flexibility with your schedule and comfortable with a changing environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Exceptional guest service skills required.
• Five years of professional kitchen experience.
• One year in a supervisory or management capacity.
• POS and cash handling knowledge and experience are preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable in state guidelines for food safety, sanitation and preparation.
• Ability to drive, maneuver, and park the food truck.
• Must be able to be insured according to our driving insurance policy.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State health card (food worker card).
• SERVSAFE certified preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Class 12 Mixologist Permit.
• Must have a valid Washington state Driver License.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, occasional bending and crouching. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
