Responsibilities

  • Responsible for opening, removing and securing currency from the slot machines and table games.
  • Operates large and small currency counters.
  • Accurately counts slot machine currency drop and tickets.
  • Records currency from each bill acceptor and table game box on the electronic currency counter.
  • Counts daily-receipts from gaming operations.
  • Prepares cash and chips for transfer to vault.
  • Cleans and maintains drop count room and equipment and assists with cleaning and maintaining slot machine equipment.
  • Prepares and creates various reports on the count and enters into computerized online accounting system.
  • Informs supervisors of any discrepancies or variances.
  •  Must learn, comprehend and comply with all company/department policies and procedures, MICS, Gaming Regulations and Title 31 requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulations.
  • Maintains confidentially of all information.
  •  Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Exceptional guest service skills required.
  • One to three months experience handling large sums of money; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10 key experience required.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. Requires sedentary standing or sitting for long periods. Requires repetitive movement with hands and fingers with occasional bending or crouching. Employee will need to be able to pull, lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds and push/pull a heavy cart. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
