Responsibilities 

  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for user identity, MFA, conditional access, and SSO integrations.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for device compliance, security policies, and application deployment.
  • Use Azure Arc to manage on-premises servers through Azure.
  • Maintain SharePoint Online and Teams environments for collaboration, permissions, and content organization.
  • Maintain and support Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
  • Manage and maintain air-gapped systems for secure environments, ensuring strict compliance and isolation protocols.
  • Administer VMware environments, including virtual machine deployment, resource allocation, and hypervisor updates
  • Perform routine server patching, backups, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Administer local file storage, printers, and other shared resources.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for hardware, networking, and endpoint-related issues.
  • Monitor system health (cloud and on-prem) and respond to alerts proactively.
  • Create and maintain detailed IT documentation of system processes and infrastructure.
  • Participate in IT projects, including cloud migrations, hardware refreshes, and security improvements.
  • Participates in an on-call rotation as necessary. 
  • Support and maintain 24x7 uptime for critical business applications; occasional after-hours and weekend work required.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications  

  • Exceptional guest service skills required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or in IT Operations roles within Microsoft hybrid environments required.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services, Exchange, Azure Entra, and Intune required.
  • Working knowledge of Azure Arc for hybrid management and SharePoint Online administration.
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
  • Experience managing on-premises Active Directory, Windows Servers, and network devices.
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements, and backup/recovery processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, capable of supporting both technical and non-technical users.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/III gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator), SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator), or AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) preferred
  • CCNA/ASE certifications preferred  

 
Physical Demands and Work Environment 
 Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, occasional bending and crouching. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.  There are no adverse conditions, but employee may be exposed to tobacco smoke.
